All POAs you may have given legally terminate automatically upon your death. After you die your creditors can only look to your estate to satisfy your debts unless anyone else has agreed in writing to be otherwise responsible, such as a guarantor or cosigner, for example.Anyone acting as your attorney in fact pursuant to a POA would not be personally liable for your debt.
