Customer Question

When my Uncle completed his Will, it was stipulated that he would purchase Life Insurance for his daughter in the amount of 250k.I am his executor, and never knew that he never bought that policy. Now his daughter claims I am responsible to pay her those monies, and states her attorney will sue me for dereliction of duty pertaining to the original Will. Am I truly responsible for that debt? I live in Fl. Thank you.

.

Can you tell me what you mean by "it was stipulated"?

.

Is this in relation to some sort of divorce decree property settlement that was entered into by uncle and his ex wife?

.

Does he have enough money in his estate to pay the $250K?

.

.

thanks
