Customer Question

In Texas. If a guy (unmarried, no children, one parent and one sister) has a pension and his mom is the named beneficiary and she dies and he doesn't name another beneficiary. Then he dies. He doesn't mention the pension in his will after being told by his attorney that pensions pass outside the will. There are also two named charities named as residuary takers. Who gets the pension? Does Section 68 of the Texas Probate Code apply? How do I find a qualified attorney in Fort Worth to help?

Thank you for your question.

Are the residuary beneficiaries named in the Will or in the pension documents?
