Customer Question

I have a will leaving my estate to my son. Would it be better to put it in a trust fund?

Yes, by placing the assets inside a trust a probate would not be necessary to transfer the assets which could take 6 months to years depending on the court's schedule.
I hope that helped. Please ask any follow-up questions. Please rate my answer so that I may be credited for my time. Thank you.

Do you do trust funds?
Expert:  Attorney2020 replied 1 year ago.
A local estate planning attorney will be able to draft the trust document for you.
Contact the Alabama State Bar and they can direct you to an estate planning attorney. Here a link to the website: https://www.alabar.org/for-the-public/need-legal-help/
