My twin brother passed away and owed a house he bought before

Customer Question

My twin brother passed away and owed a house he bought before marriage. He used his salary to pay all the bills for the 19 years of their marriage to pay all the upkeep on the house. I think it makes it now community property and it should become a widows homestead. I do not want to see her and my nephews have to move.

Thank you for using JustAnswer.
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Why would they have to move? Are there any heirs, etc... trying to force them to move?
