What waterparks are the best options for someone living in Manhattan?
I am looking to go to one that is cheap, easy to get to by bus or train and fun : )

Hi again, Alexandre and welcome back to Just Answer!

This is Cher, and it will be my pleasure to assist you today.

The nearest waterparks to Manhattan will be found in New Jersey, Long Island and Pennsylvania. Check out this selection and see if anything interests you:

You can get to NJ from Manhattan via Path trains and buses, and to Long Island via the Long Island Railroad. You'd have to call each waterpark to ask directions by train and/or bus.

If you need any additional information or clarification, simply 'Reply' back before rating and I will be happy to help with any follow up questions.

If you found my answer helpful, please let me know by providing a Positive rating and Positive feedback on the survey, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Laughing

Cher. Thanks for the answer and the link to the website.

But which one is the best option as far as price, transportation and fun?

Hi again, and you're most welcome.

It's always my pleasure to be of help to you! : )

I've never been to one, personally, even though I am a native New Yorker (no longer living there). I think I may have been to Six Flags in my youth! lol

I'll check out the best options for you and get back with you as soon as I can.

Best regards,
Cher
Hi again,

These reviews of Splish Splash waterpark will help. It was voted one of the top waterparks by the Travel Channel:

Six Flags in Hurricane Harbor, NJ did not receive favorable reviews, so scratch that one off your list.

Tomahawk Lake in Sparta, NJ didn't have the best of reviews, either:

I'd go to Splish Splash, as it seems to be the best.

I hope this helped, and if so, please let me know and rate positive. Thanks!

Cher
