Are third party trades allowed in Monopoly? If yes, where does it show so in the rules?
My research shows on this classic game rules that at least in tournaments that third party trades are not allowed.
From what I have been reading from serious Monopoly game players, there is no set rule against the idea of third party trades but the idea is against the true idea of the game.

I have also read the official rules and it is stated that "no player may borrow from or lend money to another player".
