I recently had a to die for fudge in kemah Texas! I have searched the internet for a copy cat recipe with no luck. I am looking for key lime fudge. soooooo delicious. It was a two layer fudge, key lime and chocolate. I purchased my small portion at Boardwalk Fudge in Kemah. If anyone has a recipe for this amazing treat, please let me know. I want to make it for a wedding reception. I am going to try to copy it myself if no one knows of it. I thought I would give it a shot on here. :)

I have not been able to find the exact recipe from Boardwalk Fudge, but, I do have a

really great recipe you can try. Additionally, you can order the same Key Lime Fudge

and experiment with the ingredients until it comes close to your desired taste.

Key Lime Pie Fudge Recipe:

(1) 5 ounce can evaporated milk

(1) 2/3 cups sugar

(1/2) teaspoon salt

(12) large marshmallows

(2) cups white chocolate chips

(1/4) cup lime rinds and grated usually about 4 limes

(2) tablespoons key lime juice

(1) cup finely grated graham cracker crumbs

(1/4 cup) melted butter

(1/4 ) cup sugar

2 drops green food coloring if you want the lime green appearance

First, line an 8x8" pan with wax paper.

Next, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and the melted butter in a bowl until well blended.

Now, press mixture into an 8 x 8" pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for approx. 7 minutes and let it cool completely.

Combine the milk, 1 2/3 sugar and salt in a large saucepan and continue to cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil stirring constantly.

As Mixture begins to boil, cook it for 8 minutes, and stir constantly.

from heat and stir in the marshmallows, chocolate, food coloring (if desired), lime rind and lime and mix well until mixture is melted and smooth.

into prepared pan and cool completely.

Lastly, cut into 1 inch squares to serve.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance and I would love to hear back from you if you use this recipe and it works !
