Hello and thanks for the question.

Have you tried gamefaqs.com?

I'm providing a link to the CSI Dark Motives walkthrough. The guide is for the PC version but you can use it for the Nintendo DS edition as well.

Having now used the site suggested and completed the whole scenario 3 times I get no joy from the final visit to Brass . Very frustrating and to be honest a great waste of time!!! This also means that I cannot move on to the next story and I so wish the motor bike hadn't crashed Chazboy 39

I truly feel your frustration when it comes to following guides and the results aren't what they say to be.
Upon researching more information regarding this game, I discovered some new evidence that might have slipped past you.
Here is what I found at Cheatcc.com

  • Daredevil Disaster evidence

Look at the doorknob in Cory Millatizo's office, and compare it to the fingerprint on the motorcycle's engine.

  • Spring

Before you can use the microscope to find out about the spring, you must look at both tire marks at the casino (not the bike's wheel but the treads on the ground) and ramp.

  • I hope this helps you for when you face Brass in the office.

    Thanks and good luck.

I am sure you don't want to hear from me again... however after another two tries got to the same place and no warrents for final steps.Comment by Brass maybe find a stronger link between the suspect and the victim!! Also therefore unable to ask final questions to Leslie and Cory. Help from Catherine !!! What is there to learn from the Beta tape images So that's the end unless in the future you come across any other person that has finished the the whole thing successfully and can therefore offer further help. Good to talk to you. BUT VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! Customer

Hi again. I don't mind hearing from you. Your questions provide challenges that I welcome.
I researched your issue and I came across a forum where there was a list of solutions for the various cases for the CSI game.
Let me know if they help.
    Thanks again.
