what ever happened to the Japanese actress Reiko Kuba who had a bit part in the movie Sayonara? Her characters name was Fumiko san and she was James Garners love interest.

An extensive search might lead one to believe that Reiko Kuba did not appear in any movies prior to, or even after, Sayonara! See, for example, these links:

Beyond that modest part, perhaps it is true ... that she didn't appear in anything else. How curious is that?

I knew she did not appear in any more movies. I wondered what else she did with her life. I could not find any biography or anything.

Other than the part in Dark Angel: Brainiac, unlike most other celebrities, there were no other references of any kind that I could find either.

Even surviving WW-I soldiers can be located - in web pages in other languages - but there was NOTHING about her!
