It takes to months to complete the tests and to decide if he is eligible

I am not satisfied by your answer. I am an RN. Why would he go to a gastroenterologist? Obviously an endocrinologist would be the specialist. You'll have to do better than you have yet to get a positive review from me.
Expert:  Dr Chaithanya replied 10 months ago.

Dear, gastroenteric surgeon is the one who evaluated whether he is eligible for surgery

Expert:  Dr Chaithanya replied 10 months ago.

I understand, endocrinologist can only evaluate the hormonal status or functionality of present pancreas through some tests

Customer: replied 10 months ago.

What are his present complications

I don't think he will be eligible for transplant with a previous history of rejection as there will be high chances of rejection again
