Hello from JustAnswer.
There usually would be no significant long term consequences of a 7 month delay in treatment of an ACTH independent tumor. The physiologic effect of the high levels of cortisol are typically reversible once treatment has been implemented. However, there can be some exceptions to this. For example, if there is a severe increase in blood pressure to a level that causes end-organ damage, such as to the kidney, the organ damage may persist even after the blood pressure improves with treatment.
