Hi my Dr. did a TSH test and it came back High Sensitivity the # XXXXX 1.08. what does this mean?
It is normal and therefore it tells you that the thyroid is working normally. TSH(thyroid stimulating hormone) is made by the pituitary gland and if the thyroid is under active the TSH levels will go up to get the thyroid to make more thyroxine. Having a normal TSH(high senvitive just means it is more accurate) tells you that the metabolism is normal.
