I hve stage 2 hypertension - initial diagnosis 270/180 and now is kind of controlled with an ACE inhibitor; calcium channel blocker; beta blocker and spironolactone. I have mucsle cramps at night, fatigue during the day, occassional spikes in BP with tachycardia - is this involvement of the adrenal glands?
Hi there. This is a good question, best answered by your doctor because it requires a little more digging into your medical history. However, what is more likely is that your symptoms are due to potential side effects of the medications you are taking. It sounds to me that you should have some blood tests done, including electrolytes, and maybe an ECG.Please discuss with your doctor and ask if you are due for a blood test.
