Hello. Quick question. I came across this job ad on LinkedIn and on of the requirements shocked me a little. I'm about to make a stink about it all over SM but maybe what they say is legal. Here is what it says:
Physical Demands of the Job: Must be able to walk, lift, bend, stoop, talk, hear, see, and smell. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle...and carry luggage, computer laptop, etc.
This job is for a Franchise Business Consultant. It this a legal hiring practice? Just curious.

I see where you are coming from but yes,they can describe certain physical requirements of the job. While I understand it might disqualify certain people with disabilities from applying, it is not going to be something legally actionable.
