Is it legal employer to ask me to work 45-50 hours per week

Customer Question

Is it legal for my employer to ask me to work 45-50 hours per week and two Saturdays per month. I'm paid salary. I don't get overtime pay. My salary is 50k per year. I was hired 3 years ago, I don't get raises, or haven't had one since. My employers are located in R.I.. There are 3 owners, and 1 full time employee (me) and one part time employee.

Good evening. I am Loren, a licensed attorney, and I look forward to assisting you.

Do you have a written employment contract specifying you schedule or limiting your time on the job?

When you say that you do not get overtime, do you mean you are exempt or that they are illegally refusing to pay overtime?
