Madam: Is it legal to tell the employee that he/she cannot

Customer Question

Dear Sir/Madam: Is it legal to tell the employee that he/she cannot keep the big water bottle under your cash register. Some times I keep Brisk 1 liter bottle (filled with water) to avoid constant trips to the break room OR sometimes two - 20 Oz. water bottles. You work 6 hours OR sometimes 12 to 14 hours days, you do get thirsty talking to the customers. Your mouth gets very dry.Regards,GEETA VARMA(###) ###-####
