As a general contractor, How can I show proof of adequate insurance

Customer Question

As a general contractor, How can I show proof of adequate insurance coverage on a job site for people that I hire as subcontractors (1099)?

Good morning. I am Loren, a licensed attorney, and I look forward to assisting you.
Typically, you would present a certificate of insurance, which shows the named insured, coverages and policy limits, to whomever needs such evidence. You can get the certificate from your agent.
