In the state of Arizona, can a salaried employee with an employment contract be terminated without cause. Further more if fired for cause does the employer have the burden of proof detailing the resonator termination.

If there is a contract, the salaried employee may not be terminated without cause. The exception is if the contract allows termination without cause expressly, which is very rare. If the termination is for cause, burden is on employer to show it and otherwise must pay the terms under the contract - which is often salary for balance of the contract!
