Customer Question

Hello,
I am 64 and will be 65 in about a week. I enrolled as everyone told me to in medicare 3 months before you turn 65. I am still working and mistakenly clicked the button for part B.
Did not realize this was a problem until I got the bill. And now they are telling me if I terminated I will be paying penalty when I do enroll for part B when I am eligible? Is this true for a simple mistake?
