Hello and welcome. There are no provisions in HIPAA that protect the privacy of employees as that is not what the Act's purpose is. HIPAA deals with the privacy of medical patients, not the people who treat them. Any employee privacy protections would be derived from other statutes. Therefore, it would be helpful to know exactly why you were asking this question so that I could determine if there are any privacy laws that might apply. Please let me know....
