I have a question regarding 2 week notice and vacation days. My wife has accrued 2 weeks of vacation. She turned in her notice on a Tue morning effective the Friday of the following week. She was told that she had to work to the following Tuesday or she would lose her vacation days. Worse case I would think that it would be the Monday or 10 working days out. But I didn't think the company could pull earned vacation days.
Can the company withhold or take back vacation days if the employee doesn't give a 2 week notice?
