Is there a maximum age limit for applicants to a state of texas

Is there a maximum age limit for applicants to a state of texas employment?

Thank you for your question. Please permit me to assist you with your concerns.

The state is barred under law, specifically under the ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act), from discriminating against individuals who are 40 or older. But there is no maximum age limit from what I am aware of, and so long as the person is not formally retired and is member of the workforce, he or she is able to file.

Hope that helps.
