Optional Information: Country relating to Question: United States Already Tried: internet
Hello,Can you tell me what CVS has to do with your employer? Is that your employer? What is the underlying issue here please?
no cvs is my pharmacy i work for a doctors office who thinks I may have written a presc for myself
Hello,Thank you for the information. Typically CVS will not release a video tape of their pharmacy customers without either a subpoena or a warrant. So, unless your employer has reported this to the police and is going to sit with the police and identify you on the tape after the police have presented CVS with a warrant, then your employer is not going to have access. If CVS was to release the tape without a court order, as I mentioned, that would be a HIPAA violation. Please let me know if you have any related follow up questions. Also let me know if you have any technical difficulties with the rating systems. You may reply back to me using the Continue the Conversation or Reply to Expert link if you have additional questions; and if you do, I ask that you please keep in mind that I do not know what you may already know or with what you need help, unless you tell me. Kindly rate me based solely on my assistance to you in understanding the law, and not based on whether my answer is what you were hoping to hear or for Site issues, which I have no control over. I, unfortunately, have no control over the how the law impacts your particular situation, and I trust that you can understand how it would be unfair for me to be punished by a (negative rating) ----the first 2 stars/faces----for having been honest with you about the law. Please reply to me and let me know if you are having difficulty with the rating system or even seeing it. Thank you.
