Can a supervisor threaten an employee with job loss if he/her

This answer was rated:

Can a supervisor threaten an employee with job loss if he/her work is not 100% accurate if the entire department, and company itself, is not held to the same standard? We're talking proofreading in house info.
The employer can threaten the job of the employee but if the employee is fired it would not be misconduct if the same standard is not used for everyone, so you could get unemployment and possibly sue for wrongfull termination IF they actually fired you for discriminatory reasons, ie sex, race, age, nationality, religion, and are just using your work as an excuse.
