My computer tells me I should activate my Windows vista. I cannot find thr "Key" on my computer.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: i have a Gateway computer and At and T is my server
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: I access through my computer using Mosella
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have not tried troubleshooting
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: This is all new to me; I' m pretty much illiterate

Why do you need to connect ? Nothing was indicated for activation. The $37.00 charge for this service---is this monthly?
My computer was manufactured in May, 2008, and I bought it second hand three years ago.

In May, 2016 , I had a new hard drive installed.

OK. Is that new hard drive your primary hard drive (containing Windows), or secondary (containing only your data)?

It looks like Windows needs to be re-activated because of the new hard drive. You will need to type a valid Windows Vista product key to activate it. If you don't have it, please check on the computer housing for any sticker, such as the Windows sticker. It contains the product key.
