I have been using Thunderbird for years and have always been happy with it. however in the past week it stopped letting me down load my mail and instead shows me a message saying "the RETR command did not succeed. Error retriving a message. Mail server pop3.frontier.com responded: [SYS/TEMP] problem retrieving message." how do I fix this.
JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: I don't know what that means. I go to Frontier for my email.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: Only through my web browser.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I uninstalled Thunderbird and then installed it again. That's it.
