I am trying to sign on as a new Uber user, but when I typed

Hi I am trying to sign on as a new Uber user, but when I typed in my cell phone number, it showed that the number has been used or on file and I cannot complete the user registration. How do I solve this problem?
JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: I use my company mail account
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: All three described above are used by me
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried to sign in through my cell phone and I have not tried other means so far

try using the lost password ***** see if it will send you the reset link to your phone.

if that won't work i will have to see what procedure if any they have for dealing with a phone number that has a new owner both of whom want to use uber.
