My phone used to have a signal to indicate a message has been received, but that function no longer exists and there is no indication that a message has been received. How do I correct that?
JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: Rogers is the provider but I use Gmail
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: All my email is through my mac lap top
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Don't know where to start

Customer: Email isn't my problem. It is phone messages

Please remove the power to the base station and the batteries from the handset and wait 10 minutes.

Connect the power to the base unit, put the batteries in the handset and tell me if the indicator now shows please.
