JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: gmail
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: web browser
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I keep getting an error and I tried changing my password ***** I can't receive messages
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I also keep getting an SSL error. I tried changing that but it didn't help

gmail is displaying all of my old emails but I have not received anything past November 10. I try to refresh and it says error checking mail for.. Once I check the details it says their is an authentication error. I'm on a mac computer.

Can you click on the Apple logo / menu at the top, then click on About this Mac..., then tell me your OS X version, such as 10.6, 10.7, ..., 10.10, 10.11, etc.?

Mac version 10.11.6 and I received your messages now but I was suppose to receive emails on the 11th - 13th are not there. Also It now says error checking for mail

No their is still that time gap and an error that says: POP3: Unable to fetch mail.

If there is a time gap on the web interface gmail.com there is no way of retrieving the emails
