Hello, and Thank You for choosing JustAnswer.comMy name is ***** ***** I am reviewing your question now, please stand by for 1 or 2 minute for reply.
YOu dont need to call me.
We dont need to talk....atleast i dont think so.
What you have to do, is ERASE, or delete the Microsoft Outlook for IOS program FROM the iPad/iPhone.
Then, REinstall the Microsoft Outlook for IOS program back on the iPad.
When you do a install of outlook, it will ask to import your iOS contacts (which you now only have 461 of) and outlook will only import those too.
Thats the fastest way to do this, and the best way.,
you use Gmail....as your Email address right?
Then your Emails themself will repopulate.........the contacts and calendars will be merged (if you do it) from the Google account calendar and contacts, and your iOS device calendar and contacts.
Somethign you have to keep in mind here, is that your iOS ddevice (iPad /iPhone) has a default contacts and calendar.....AND so does your Gmail account.
So when you install outlook on your ios device, it will try to pull the calendar and contacts of the iOS device.
But when you ALSO add a GMAIL account to outlook.....outlook will try to pull your calendar and contacts for your Google account.
This can cause an issue.
So, you have to decide from WHICH you want to use as yoru default calendar and contacts.
your using outlook for an APple device, so im reading its a manual process......you actually can not do it automatically, as it was done in the past.
The newer versions dont allow this anymore.
They now use the .pst file to store everything.....including Emails/contacts/calendars.
So you have to manually go through the outlook contacts, and delete them to match what you want.
This is in part because of the use of 2 different (COMPETEING )companies. Apple and Microsoft.
They dont work together well.......and you will almoost always have issues......and when you bring the issue to either of their attention, they point the finger at the other.
Yes ofcourse, your welcome.
