JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: Outlook.com
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: through firefox
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: the problem is that outlook.com is putting all email in junk mail.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: our filters have not been changed to cause this.

There's no general problem on this right now so it must be a setting on her account.

Are you able to send an email from her account to herself and one from your own account to see where it lands?

I checked her settings and they are fine. The system chose to put everything in junk today.

There's no general problem on this issue so it is local to your friend's email account - the question I asked you about sending an email from her own account is necessary to determine that is true

I sent 2 emails and they did not go into junk mail. The account is now working, I think

If you changed none of the settings it might have been a temporary problem with the server.
