can not figure out how to get to thunderbird backgrounds
JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: desk computer with windows 10
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: all kinds off stuff
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can get to the color background page but when I choose the choe file it takes me to my document

When you are given the option to "Choose File" that is exactly how it is supposed to work.

A Background is simply a picture, or some type of image file (jpg, png, tif, etc etc)

So, you can use either the included background (only 1 i believe) or you can choose your OWN background.

When you choose a file, you then have to HAVE the imgae file ON YOUR COMPUTER to use it.

confused I thought thunderbird had backgrounds of their own???
is that why it is taking me to my own my documents
