I can get email on my iphone 6 but I can't forward it or send it out
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?
Customer: verizon
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: both on my computer and on my iphone My computer works fine
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: changing my password ***** my incoming messages but not on my outgoing messages. Didn't know how
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?

You will need to update your password ***** outgoing messages if it has changed.

On the iPhone 6, go to MAIL > CONTACTS > CALENDAR settings and find your Verizon email account.

You will get to the EMAIL INFORMATION page for that account. Scroll down to the OUTGOING SERVER.

CLICK on the OUTGOING SERVER

You will see a list of OUTGOING SERVERS that have been configured on your iPhone. The one that is currently set to be used with this particular email account is at the top and highlighted:Primary Server. So click on that one.

You can now change the password.
