Hello, and Thank You for choosing JustAnswer.comMy name is ***** ***** I am reviewing your question now, please stand by for 1 or 2 minute for reply.
when you switched email providors.....did you also switch domains?
or is it the same domain name..and you only switched who manages your email server?
you should be able ot just switch your outlook BACK to your old providor info, THEN EXPORT....then switch back to the new provideor settings.
assuming your account is still active on the old providor?
Sometimes there can be an overlap.
However, if you are not able to connect back with your OLD email server....any emaisl NOT saved on your computer will be lost.
So....it is important to export prior to disconnecting form the email server (you disconnect by changing the email account settings for that email account within outlook)
YOu may also have OWA, which would allow you to connect to your oLD providor email server through a web browser, instead of through outlook.
That way you dont have to change your outlook settings back and forth
OWA should still allow an export to a .pst file. that you can then import to your outlook
Outlook Web Access (OWA) is an option on an Exchange server.....which is most likely what you are paying for....A virtual MS ExchangeEmail server.
