OK please try the following steps on the printer having printhead error.

Step 1: Reset the printer

Resetting the printer can reset the connection with the printhead and clear any error messages.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

    NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

  9. Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

  • If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

  • If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.

Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today.

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with this but I’ll do my best to help you out.

My apologies for any delay in getting you an appropriate answer; Your question was posted in the email category rather than printers.

This is not a scam, but it can take some time for an appropriate expert to be available to assist with your specific problem.

I'd be happy to help you with this, but even though they are the same model this is a single question and per the terms of the site I can assist you here with only one of the issues. I can help with the other too, but you would need to post that as a new topic. Which issue would you like to work on here?
