Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

Does it give you an error when you try to download new e-mail? There might be a Send/Receive Error status message at the bottom of Outlook.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
no nothing shows up. This is my bosses e-mail. I am receiving them on my computer but he is not receiving them on his computer
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

Is the e-mail setup for POP3 on your PC? If it is, the server will show the new e-mail as "read" and will not download to his.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
how do I find out if it is?
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
this issue started after we had to change his password ***** aol because he was hacked. Before that we were receiving the e-mails simultaneously
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

It will be under File > Account Settings. Then click on the properties of the account. Both PCs will need to have the password ***** to the new password.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
we did this already
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
his e-mails do not show up when he goes into aol either on his computer
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

Do they download successfully to yours?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
they do
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

It does sound like your e-mail is POP and removing them from the server. If you go into, File > Account Settings. Then click on the properties of the account on your Outlook.

Choose More settings and click on Advanced. You should see a check box titled: Leave a copy of messages on the server. Checking the box will enable Leave a copy of the message on the server.

Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.

This will allow both of you to download the e-mail.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I set it up. We will see if it works.
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
is there a way for me to be able to send an e-mail from my computer and it show up also on his computer as sent?
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.
Not for sent items. You'll need something like IMAP or Outlook Anywhere through an Exchange server or Office 365.
Expert:  Jason Fenoglio replied 8 months ago.
AOL should support IMAP.
