These instructions are for Outlook 2010 but they will work for Outlook 2007. Basically it requires you to save your spreadsheet into a CSV file and import into the Contact folder in Outlook. Click on the link below and expand the Import contact from an Excel spreadsheet.

Your suggestion didn't work. I saved my file as a .csv file and got the same error,. Please do NOT charge my Visa.
