Does it have Windows 7 or 8 or 10, etc.?
Does it show an email address at the password ***** login screen?
Does it let you connect to Wi-Fi / wireless at the password ***** login screen?
Is it okay to reset the tablet fresh, so you can re-set it up fresh, like brand-new, with a new password ***** want?

It seems you are using Microsoft account to log on this tablet. Hence the first thing to do is to verify if the account is still valid, active and accessible. Are you able to log on your Outlook account via web from another computer?
Just clarify: are you able to access your Outlook account on any other computer now?
