I simply want to change the password ***** my hotmail
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Hotmail account?
Customer: since yesterday when I believe somebody had infiltrated my account
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I've tried to have a verification code sent to my other hotmail address but because the tel no logged with my other hotmail address (which I have never used) is no longer correct I had to change the telno of the secondary account and it takes 30 days for me to be able to use it.......
JA: The email expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?

Please Sign in to Outlook (Hotmail). Enter your Hotmail address and password ***** login and open your inbox.

Click your profile image in the upper-right corner of the inbox.

Select Account settings.

Click the Security and password menu option.

Click the Change password link. This is located under the “Password ***** security info” section of the Overview.

Enter in your current password, and then enter a new password.

I'm sorry but I have tried all of the above but because they need to send me verification code and my "secondary" hotmail account is not accessible for a month (as its registered telephone no. was out of date) the above process does not work.

  1. Go to the Reset your password page.
  2. Choose the reason you need your password ***** then click Next.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Enter the characters you see on the screen then click Next.
  5. click I didn’t get a code when you’re prompted for a code at sign-in, or I don’t have access to these when you’re resetting your password, then follow the instructions.
