Since it is a new e-mail account that doesn't contain any important e-mail, you can safely delete it since renaming the e-mail address or user name is ***** ***** Once you have deleted it, you can create a new e-mail address with the correct information. Just make sure to verify everything before confirming the account creation.

So, to delete the current misspelled account, click on this link:

https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user

You will need to type the current password ***** confirm the code shown on the picture.

After that, proceed with creating a new account. Here is a link for that:
