My AOL was hacked. I was instructed to change my password ***** in doing so, I lost me contacts. Is there anyway t0 recover. I use Firefox on Mac 10.11.2
JA: How long have you had this issue with your A.O.L. account?
Customer: about 2 weeks
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: none. Just looking for the file in backup, but I do not know whee to look.

  1. 1. Go to, click the AOL Mail icon, and then sign on using your AOL Username and Password.
  2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and then click the Help link on the upper right of the AOL Mail window.


  3. On the AOL Mail System Summary window, next to Address State, click Reset.


  4. Close all open windows.
