I only have two "E" Mail accounts. My tel co is closed so I can not get a third account. My vernon account has not been used. So can I use that one?

you cannot use the email account which has already been closed as it gets deleted from the email server when you end up a contract with the email company.

You can always use an email which is active and you are you paying for if its not a webbased free email like gmail or hotmail.

Webbased emails also gets closed or terminated when its not used more then 50 days.
