No problem. When you are at the aol.com mail website, Do you see a Trash folder icon or the Trash option on the left side? Scroll down on the left as needed.
What are the icons you see on the left side?
Please let me know. Thank you,
Click on Recently Deleted option on the left, then what do you see there? Please let me know. Thank you,
Don't right-click on the Recently Deleted option, but left-click on the Recently Deleted option, then do you see a list of deleted email messages on the right?
That's strange. Did you empty the Recently Deleted folder recently?
- If you delete one email message from folder New Mail (or Old Mail or Sent) now, does that deleted message go to Recently Deleted folder or not?
That means it is working the way it's supposed to.
Did you empty the Recently Deleted folder recently?
Sorry, that's the problem. From now on, please note that the Recently Deleted folder means the Trash folder.
Do you need anything else for now? Thank you,
Do you have any further question? Please reply at the box below. Thank you,
I'm really sorry about this. Since you've already emptied your Recently Deleted folder, then unfortunately your emails are gone; they cannot be recovered. Your computer /email does have the Recently Deleted folder, which means Trash folder. Email providers use different terms for the trash folder, such as Trash, or Recently Deleted, or Deleted or Deleted Items, etc.
