Hi!

  1. In Outlook, click in the Search box.
  2. Click the Search tab, click Search Tools, and then click Indexing Status.
  3. When the Indexing Status dialog appears, you should see the following:

Outlook has finished indexing all of your items.
0 items remaining to be indexed.
  4. After that, please try searching again. If it doesn't work, let me know.

Emails are appearing in the normal search box but then when I click on that email address it would normally bring up a history of emails just from that person in the bottom right panel of outlook. Can I send you a screen shot?

It searches for 'carolines' email address but then when I click on one of her emails in the left panel it no longer shows me all of her email in the bottom right panel, as it used to.

HI there, my name is ***** ***** I would like to assist. The feature you are using is called the 'People Pane'. I have found a Microsoft article with a tutorial on getting this to work, see following link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976786

In doing some research about this topic, if you are connected to an exchange server I would recommend turning cache mode on if not already on, and if it's already on trying changing it to off and back on again. See following link on how to perform this operation: https://kb.intermedia.net/article/1057

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Evan
