I am sorry for the difficulty, do you have anti virus or firewall settings that are blocking the apps?

you can open Chrome’s settings screen and control who can log in. Only the Chromebook’s “owner” can do this. The first account you log in to the Chromebook with becomes the owner account.

You’ll find these options on the Settings screen, enable guest browsing.

you may be able to find the passwords on your chrome browser, try clicking on the menu at the top right of your google browser window, it will be three horizontal lines, then click on "settings", then scroll to the bottom of the settings screen and choose "show advanced settings" then choose Manage passwords from "passwords and forms".

I thank you so much for your help, I'm not very technical as you probably figured out. I'm guessing I have a firewall my husband bought this for me a few years ago so don't know if he set it up or I did, where would do I go to settings?
