Customer Question

I'm setting up Thunderbird as an IMAP client to my mail account managed by Google. I have set all server configs including port numbers, security and authentication configurations and I appear to be able to reach the server, but any attempt to display contents of my inbox result in the following message.
The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account***@******.*** responded: Unknown command rm8mb84709573oeb
Can you explain this response?
