I have been having problems sending and receiving AOL emails

Customer Question

I have been having problems sending and receiving AOL emails from a particular set of addresses at Oppenheimer and Company. Their emails do not show up in my spam folder or in my email inbox and my emails to them appear to go straight to their spam folder. Is there some setting on my computer or on AOL that is causing this?

try performing the below steps;

  1. Login to AOL Webmail at http://mail.aol.com.
  2. At the top right of the page under your username, click Options > Mail Settings.
  3. In the left panel, click Spam Settings.
  4. Uncheck the box for "Enable Spam Filter".
  5. Check the box for "Allow mail from all senders".
  6. Ensure the Content Filter boxes are both unchecked.
  7. Set Blocked Mail to "Deliver blocked mail to Spam folder".
  8. Save your changes.

Then have them send you a test email to see how it reacts. I apologize for the wait.

I only wanted to unblock this sender. Will this procedure unblock all senders as indicated in your answer?
Expert:  Cody replied 8 months ago.

Yes it will allow everyone through.

Are there any filters setup that are moving them to the trash folder?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I haven't purposely done that. How to find out if the filters are set up?
Expert:  Cody replied 8 months ago.
  1. At the top right of the page under your username, click Options > Mail Settings.
  2. Filters and Alerts on left side.
