OK. Please do this on your computer:

1. Open a web browser

2. Go to www.skype.com

3. Click on the "Sign in" button located in the upper right corner. Type your Skype name or e-mail address and the password, and then click "Sign in". In case you see your name instead of "Sign in", it means you have already signed in

4. Click on your name in the upper right corner

5. Now scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Account settings" located in the "Settings and preferences" section

There you can see your Skype name and other e-mail addresses associated with your Skype account. Make sure you typed the correct Skype name or e-mail address on your iPad.

Please check your Skype name and Primary email address displayed on the Skype page when you click on "Account settings".

Go to your iPad and tap on your name and choose Sign out. You may need to tap on all menus there to find the option to sign out. Once you have signed out, use another way of signing in. For example, if you used your Skype name to sign in the first time, this time sign in with your primary e-mail address, and vice-versa. The password ***** ***** same.

Please click on the status and change it to something else, for example to "Offline". After that, tap on the status again and select "Online". After that, try to call one of your Skype contacts.

I suggest removing the Skype app and then re-installing it. To do that, exit Skype and go to the home screen. Locate the Skype app icon and tap it and hold it for a few seconds. Once it shakes, tap on X

Once done, restart your iPad. After the restart, go to the iTunes and download Skype again.

Use your Skype name and password ***** sign in. Check if you can then call your contacts.

Since it is the same, yes, try changing the e-mail, and then see if you can sign in with a new e-mail once changed.

You should be able to sign in either with Skype name, e-mail address and mobile phone number, so try all of those.

well this is the result,of the three, only the skype name would login with the pass word, And in contacts I am not connected,but i am online in status, in short, nothing has changed. however my wife has been able to text in from Kabul which is good.

You should be able to sign in on "Skype for Web". Please try it by opening a web browser and going to this address:

https://web.skype.com

Try it on both your iPad and computer. See if you can sign in and send a message or call the contacts.
