I'm sorry about the issue. Does both gmail email addresses have the same password ***** different passwords?
Is the issue only occur when sending? How about when receiving emails? Are both email accounts receiving email fine?

Can you please sign in her gmail email address at the gmail.com website, then click on the gear icon near the upper right corner, then click on Settings. Then click on option "Accounts and Import" at the top, then click on edit info option on the right of her email address, then change the name there, then click on Save Changes, and check.

If needed, please sign in her gmail email address, then click on the big letter icon (or the gmail email address or the name) at the upper right corner, then click on My Account, then click on option Personal info & privacy, then click on Nickname, and edit the name as needed, then click on Done.
